Hamid Shojaei, Ph.D., is a Distinguished Engineer at Cadence Design Systems, where he leads the ChipStack Agents team. Prior to the acquisition of ChipStack by Cadence, he co-founded the company and served as CTO, building AI-powered verification agents deployed at leading semiconductor companies worldwide. With 17+ years of experience in chip design and verification, Hamid was a member of Google's TPU program and has held engineering leading roles at Lightmatter and Qualcomm. His work spans design, verification, and LLM-based agentic systems for hardware design.
