Luke Yang is Product and Business Planning Senior Director of XEPIC, an EDA company focuses on digital design verifications. Luke has over 20 years’ experience in various CPU and DSP related products, including processor system simulation and prototyping, OS kernel and drivers, heterogeneous architecture, and cloud-based AI chip design. His deep understanding in hardware-software co-design applications helps to bring innovations to EDA products and market.
Luke has working experience in Chip, EDA and IP companies like Intel, Synopsys and CEVA, focusing on supporting China customers in system and SoC design, simulation, and optimization to make better products. It is a challenge of enjoyment for him to work at the edge of chip and system, also software and hardware, to always pursue for better products.
Luke published the book “open-source embedded system analysis and practice” with his contributions and experience in open-source projects. Electronics gadget designs with Arduino and Raspberry Pi is his hobby in spare time.
Luke holds B.A. degree in physics from Nanjing university, and M.A. in computer science from Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, and MBA degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
