5G technologies such as mmWave, MIMO, and beam forming are fundamentally changing the requirements for wireless system design, verification and testing. Traditional divide-and-conquer approaches are no longer enough to achieve verification—full system verification of antenna, RF, and digital is required for design confidence and predictable time-to-market. This keynote will review 5G SoC technologies and related verification challenges that are driving new requirements for verification teams.
Biography: Susheel Tadikonda, Vice President of Verification Continuum Solutions Engineering in the Verification Group at Synopsys, is responsible for the development of solutions addressing fast-growing verticals such as automotive, networking, storage, 5G, and AI. Prior to Synopsys, he held various technical and engineering managerial roles at Intel, Procket Networks (acquired by Cisco), Xsigo Systems (acquired by Oracle), Applied Micro and Barefoot Networks where he focused mainly on processor, network and storage silicon development.
